TAKFRESH GEL Eye Drop is a lubricant in nonvolatile eye drops (artificial tears) that uses the sodium salt of Carboxy Methyl Cellulose as its main constituent to provide lubrication to the eye. Being in gel form, Takfresh Gel Eye Drops retain eye’s moisture content for a longer period of time and achieve prolonged residence time on the ocular surface. It has been shown to be efficacious in the treatment of aqueous tear-deficient dry eye symptoms. It is generally understood that it is the physical properties of Sodium Carboxy Methyl Cellulose, such as its viscosity and mucoadhesive properties, contributing to its prolonged retention time in the ocular surface.

Preservative But Preservative Free- Stabilized Oxychloro Complex (SOS) works as preservative in TAKFRESH GEL Eye Drops. It is an oxidative-type preservative that oxidizes in the presence of light and dissociate into water, oxygen, sodium and chlorine free radicals.

Symptoms related to Dry Eyes, i.e., irritation, redness, dryness and tiredness or discomfort caused due to the exposure of sun or wind.

Also, prescribed Post Eye Surgery to maintain healthy tear film enabling early recovery.

CONTRAINDICATIONS- Hypersensitivity towards any component of the ophthalmic solution.

Instill a drop into the effected eye(s) twice daily or as directed by the eye doctor.

SIDE EFFECTS- Allergic reactions like skin rash, itching, swelling, Blur vision after the administration of eye drop, Eye irritation or redness or Eye pain.

Warnings & PRECAUTIONS-

  • Do not swallow solution.
  • If solution changes color or becomes cloudy, do not use.
  • To avoid contamination, do not touch bottle tip on any surface and avoid direct contact with the eye.
  • Close the bottle tightly immediately after use.
  • Discontinue usage if experience any of the above adverse effects.
