Ifrosh Eye Drops (HYPROMELLOSE+GLYCERIN+DEXTRAN) is a slightly viscous solution that acts as an eye lubricant, also known as artificial tears. It works similar to natural tears and provides temporary relief from burning and discomfort due to the eye's dryness by maintaining proper lubrication of the eyes and acting as a protectant against further irritation.

Mode of Action:

Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose is a hydrophilic polymers that coat and protect the eye. They are hydrogels that crosslink upon contact with the ocular surface to increase tear clearance times. They must be mixed with other compounds because they are too viscous to instill alone onto the ocular surface. HMC is restores the protective effect of the mucous layer of the tears

Glycerin is a demulcent and lubricant as well as a humectant. Glycerin has the added properties of promoting epithelial cell growth and blunting the damaging effects of high osmolarity on the ocular surface. It exerts hypertonic effect on an edematous epithelium temporarily cleans edema and cornea haze providing better and clear vision.

Dextran is a low molecular weight hydrophilic polymer that increases the mechanical strength of the tear film. Its low viscosity means that it is not useful in an artificial tear without a thickening agent.

Temporary relief of discomfort due to minor irritations of the eye or to exposure to wind or sun. Foreign Body Sensation, Gritty Eyes, tearing, photophobia, with burning and stingy sensation. Conjugant therapy in Computer Vision Syndrome, Blepharitis and lid margin inflammation.

Instill 1 or 2 drops in the affected eye(s) 3 to 4 times a day or as instructed by the Physician

  • Close the bottle tightly immediately after use.
  • Discontinue usage if experience any of the mentioned adverse effects.

Adverse Effects:  Abnormal sensation in eye, eye pruritus, eye irritation, ocular hyperemia, etc.
